Lyu Jun Holds Talks with Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov
China Datang Chairman Lyu Jun held talks?with Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov?in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, during his working visit to the country on November 10 local time.

During his?meeting?with Aripov, Lyu expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister?and the Uzbek government's long-standing support for China Datang's operations in Uzbekistan.
Deeply engaged in Belt and Road cooperation, China Datang has continuously increased?investment in Uzbekistan's clean energy market, striving to set a model of China–Uzbekistan economic cooperation?and actively contribute to?the "Uzbekistan-2030" strategy, Lyu said.
Aripov spoke highly of?China Datang's contributions to Uzbekistan's energy and electricity?sector, emphasizing that the country is accelerating its transition?toward green energy?and that China Datang and Uzbekistan enjoy broad prospects for closer cooperation.
The Uzbekistan government?stands ready to provide comprehensive?support for China Datang?in its ongoing and future projects?in the country,?Aripov?said, expressing the hope that the two sides will intensify efforts to further their cooperation?with the goal of bringing greater benefits to the peoples of both?countries.

Later that?day, Lyu met with the?Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamahmudov. Lyu thanked Uzbekistan's Ministry of Energy?for its coordination?and support for China Datang's projects, and reiterated the company's?commitment?to expanding?investments?in Uzbekistan's energy and electricity sector.
Mirzamahmudov?expressed willingness to strengthen cooperation with China Datang in energy and electricity, technological innovation, and other areas, and to provide greater support for China Datang's engery investment?and construction in the country.
Following the meeting, China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd.?(CDTO)?and?Uzbekistan's state-owned power trading company, JSC Uzenergosotish, signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of Lyu?and?Mirzamahmudov.
During his stay in Uzbekistan, Lyu also conducted on-site inspections at China Datang's?Buka Solar Photovoltaic (PV)?Project, Central Asia Representative Office, and the planned site for the Buka second-phase PV?and energy storage project, where he?met with frontline staff to learn about project operations.



During the inspection of the Buka Solar PV Project, Lyu?held talks with?Turabdjanov Sadritdin Maxamatdinovich, Rector of Tashkent State Technical University?(TDTU), and inaugurated with him the CDTO–TDTU Green Energy Technology Education Center.
The center is expected to?provide internship and training opportunities for graduates?from the university and contribute to Uzbekistan's cultivation of local talents?in its?energy and electricity sector.
Li Jianwei, Vice President of China Datang,?along with the Assistant?President?of China Datang, as well as senior executives?of relevant departments and CDTO,?also participated in?the above-mentioned activities.
